tema AutoCAD 2013 not opening. Windows 10 compatibility issue? en AutoCAD Forum

I installed Windows 10 over a month ago (don't know when exactly, but definitely over the 30 days, so I don't have the roll back option) and my AutoCAD 2013 was working fine. However, in the past couple of weeks it has started freezing whilst I've been working on it, and now it won't even open, it just freezes every time at the point where it says "checking liscence".

I'm not super computer savvy, and I don't have a vast knowledge of AutoCAD and its workings (I just do really basic work on it for my dad), so I don't know whether it's directly related to the Windows 10 upgrade, or an issue with the liscencing all of a sudden, but if anyone could give me some advice (preferrably dumbed down) I'd be incredibly grateful.

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about the issue. As you might already know, Windows 10 is not officially supported by AutoCAD 2013. I would recommend checking what updates were recently performed on your computer. It appears you are having an issue communicating with the license server, try giving this a shot.
