Tick Lines are not printing

Hi,

I downloaded Autocad LT 2024, and all of the sudden the tick lines on the dimension line doesn't show when I save in pdf. It shows fine on layout, I can see on paper space as well, but when I save in pdf they are not there. I can't figure it out why?

I also noticed that some dimensions (numbers) don't show when I print, I've attached a pdf and circle in red.

I already checked, they are all in the same layer, same properties!!

Properties palette can not show the layer of ticks or dimtext.

Share this sample (.dwg) and other people can check whats going on.

This is not the MAC forum, and your PDF was plotted from LT2021, not LT2024. So....?

I'll get you moved to the correct spot in the meantime. But confirm...

Which layer(s) in your file do you have set to NOPLOT?

which layer() in your file are frozen/turned off?
And if you start a blank new file and dimension in it, do you have this same problem too?
And in all other DWG files?

I've attached a screenshot of the Autocad Lt where it shows 2024, I have no idea why it shows AutoCAD lt 2021 to you.

And when I was checking the items you suggested me to check, I was able to get the tick lines back and the numbers that were missing by turning on the layer 0.

What does the missing things have to do with layer zero if all my dimensions were under a layer called dimension!!

I have no clue!!

In AutoCAD, as a general rule, layer 0 must always be on, thawed, and unlocked (and it helps if you never ever draw anything on it ever). Looks like that's all it was.

FWIW your posted PDF file has this information in it, so I went by that reality

Still not sure why it shows 2021 on that pdf..who knows lol
