Starting a new drawing in autocad 2022

I can not start a new drawing in autocad 2022, when I chose new drawing there are no templates to chose from? Confused

What is your macOS version?

How do you start new drawing? Do you use NEW command - menu File -> New Drawing?

Can you provide more details, screenshots?

Im using a Mac pro (2013) and tried both File new drawing and the new command. The new command doesn’t have any ctb’s on it so I cant start there and when I use new drawing in files it just shows my previous files. I thought maybe it was because I’m on the free year as a student I don’t get any ctb’s ??? I got a template from my instructor but it’s kind of a pain . Regards Tony

Ask your instructor: a DWG file can be CTB or STB based, never both, perhaps your lesson from them is to go away from CTBs.
