Hello,

I'm an Interior Designer that hasn't used AutoCAD in a few years. I downloaded the free trial to refresh my memory before buying the program. We are currently trying to fix the line smoothing property on the free trial.

Not sure if the lines are jagged because its a free trial but we don't want this issue when purchasing the program. I have tried to change in all the properties along with the linesmoothing command. Circles especially are not smooth.

Can someone provide helpful information to fix this issue?

Thank you

Kate

Hello,

I am a designer who hasn't used AutoCAD in a few years. I downloaded the free trial and I'm having issues with getting the lines to be smooth on the free trial, want to make sure this isn't an issue once we buy the program. Wondering if this is an issue just because it's free and won't be once we make the final purchase. I have already made the adjustments in the properties alone with the line smoothing commands. If anyone could provide helpful information that would be great!

The trial is fully functional for 30-days. Fully functional.

Does running REGENALL command fix your display-only minor visual distraction (from your screenshot)?
What is your MacOS?
Which MAC is this running on?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you know about VIEWRES command?

Just type at the command prompt VIEWRES, hit Return twice, then type 20000 and hit Return again.

Now arcs and circles would be represented as arcs and circles every time (almost every time) in current drawing.

The VIEWRES setting is saved in the drawing. To change the default for new drawings, consider specifying the VIEWRES setting in the template files on which you base your new drawings
