Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi James,

@Anonymous wrote:

Can I import different pdf files as layers that I can superimpose and turn on or off ?

Why not?

You can do this in a variety of different ways.

For example:

-you can import PDF one by one to the current drawing, but before each importing you need to create new layer, make it current and select "Current layer" in PDF import window:

Then you will be able to manage PDF data by turning ON/OFF (Freeze/Throw) layers you created for each of PDF.

or

- you can import each PDF to a separate DWG file, then create new "master" drawing and attach DWGs with imported PDF as External references. Then you will be able to manage Layer states for xrefs (turn them off and on, freeze or throw)
