Good Afternoon! I have a student version of AutoCAD for MAC that I
have been using. I was using a trial version of 2016 and saved many
of those drawings down to 2010, but am not able to opening them with
the student version of AutoCAD 2011 that I have. Is there a reason for
this? Would a version this old be considered obsolete at this point?
If so, what are some of my options for upgrading? Thank you!

Hi,

>> but am not able to opening them with
>> the student version of AutoCAD 2011

Why not? Do you get an error message or does AutoCAD crash when you try to open one of the files or what happens?

If you want to upload a file so we can look into it, then upload one or two of that drawings.

Are you able to provide more information like: Error messages? Sample file?

There have been a good amount of changes made between 2011 and now for AutoCAD for the Mac I'm sure you've noticed the difference. Do you meet the current requirements for a student version of AutoCAD Mac now?
