When a Panel Schedule template is configured for use with either a Single Phase or Three Phase, the shading acts as though it is a Three Phase panel (although the third column isn't shown).

I want to be able to set the shading for each cell based on whether the cell has a value.

Martin, why does this get accepted with three votes? There are other improvements with more votes that we are much more interested in. We might find a use for the feature but the process is pretty frustrating!

Hi @MuirEng - thanks for asking. In short, not all Ideas cost the same to implement, so it's definitely a balance. For this particular enhancement, this is fit-and-finish related to work that a team had already in flight... specifically, related to other enhancements made in the last release for single phase (L-N) panels, in order to button up the inconsistent level of support in panel schedule templates to flexibly adapt to varying conditions.

Hi Martin, thank you for replying.

I understand what you are saying, and would appreciate a chance to renew our discussion we had a few years ago about the top electrical needs, now that you have had a chance to address some of the international issues. I think there is some other "low hanging fruit" that could be dealt with sooner rather than later.

Conditional Formatting in Panelboard Schedules

Would it be possible to include conditional formatting in Panel Schedule Templates to easily check the status of a breaker, or the circuit description to ensure that it meets a company's standard or gets modified correctly prior to being sent out on a plan? Right now having the ability to toggle the Trip Rating to be red if the breaker = 0 would be ideal. Beyond creating an Electrical Circuit Schedule and creating conditional statements within that schedule, there is no other way to QC this content. Revit help forum request linked below.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-mep-forum/conditional-formats-in-panel-schedules/td-p/5276129

Please allow conditional formatting in Panel Schedules. Revit should not allow you to put more load on a circuit breaker than it is rated. A red conditional format that uses a formula and compares the load amps vs circuit breaker rating should be possible. Thank you!!!

I see it is still marked as 'Accepted', and I have a client that was asking if this was possible now but looks like conditional formatting still doesn't support panel schedules ( you need to be able to have the 'formatting' button on the schedule properties which panel schedule types don't have). I think having this feature would be beneficial for MEP users - could you provide any feedback on the current state of this feature request?

Regards,

Scott
