idea be able to "explode" a Repeating Detail en Revit Ideas

I often use Repeating Details for showing rebar in sections (#7 AT 10" MAX, for example), which makes it very easy to create (without having to place and copy), but there are times when I want to shift one of the bars over (because it's landing on a crossing dowel line) or just hide/delete it completely. It would be nice if I could just "explode" the Repeating Detail into regular (separate) Detail Components, then make whatever changes I need. Currently, I need to delete the RD, then place and manually copy/array the DCs (which may require counting elements, if the spacing isn't "exact"), before I can make adjustments...
