I am working on a renovation project which involves demolition of a major portion of the existing building and then reconstructing in that area and expanding.

My issue is that in the Graphical Column Schedule a lot of my columns which are referencing back to the existing gridlines instead of the new which have been setup.

Can we have the option to exclude specified gridlines from the column location values?

You can achieve this by setting up a standard filter for structural columns and use their positioning parameter.

I am not trying to filter out columns, I am trying to change which gridlines they are referencing too.

It is not an issue for columns that are right at the intersection of gridlines but for several columns which are close to the existing portion of the building to remain and they don't fall directly on my new gridlines they start referencing back to the existing ones.

By adjusting the 3D extents of the existing grids you can fix some of this but it is not working for all of them and it is very tedious.
