If you have chosen degree's as your project units, this makes sense when creating roofs but not for calculating the slope of a floor, as this is measured as a ratio, eg 1:100 fall. This makes creating the slope of a floor something that you have to calculate manually.

So it would be possible to have two slope settings available in the project units and have both units available in the properties browser.

Slope: 20 deg

Alternative Slope: 1:100

PS I am not talking about reporting values tags, you can't change the slope of an object from the tag

You do know you can just type that as an equation in the properties for slope.

= 1:100 also =1/100 works too

I'm very grateful you posted it.

Maybe a lot of other user's might not know this either, or is this common knowledge that I was not aware of?

I do know it is in the help documentation, but I couldn't tell you the exact location.

I would say it is not common knowledge, probably less than half the general users know this.

Basically if you put an "=" first you can type almost any equation type and Revit will calculate it.
