idea Load into project and close family en Revit Ideas

In Revit 2023 loading into project and closing the family brings you back to your project right where you left it. Only it does not. It feels as though Revit willingly chose the least useful view of your project and land you in it.

If you have more than one file open at once, Revit will require users to choose which file to drop the family bomb into. Could not this dialog window be enhanced a little and offer us a choice which actual view to put the new family in? Well that would be the idea. If there is more than one other view open, these would be proffered. Would be great if Revit checked which of these were appropriate for the family at hand.

It's not exactly the "least useful" view, although it sure seems that way sometimes! It always flashes back to the last view you were on (i.e. the one you were in when you clicked "Edit Family") and then immediately advances to the next view in sequence (as in whatever view you would jump to if you pressed CTRL+TAB from the original view).

Either way, it's a completely unnecessary UI bug that has no reason to exist.
