idea Exclusive Item Numbers for Fabrication Parts en Revit Ideas

Hi all,

Currently when numbering Revit Fabrication Parts (specifically MEP Fabrication Ductwork) using the Item Number parameter the user does not receive a warning when a duplicate value is entered, as is the case for the Mark parameter. I simply suggest that users receive such a warning when entering Item Numbers on Fabrication Parts.

Note: To those also experiencing this issue, the attached basic Dynamo script will force the Item Number to equal the Mark. This allows you to use the Mark parameter for input (which warns of duplicates) and apply the same value to the Item Number parameter.
