idea Dimension String Beyond Matchline en Revit Ideas

It is standard drafting practice to have a dimension string showing the relationship of an object beyond the matchline. See attached image. Currently in a dependent view, the dimension string of anything selected beyond the view is hidden. I don't want to change the behavior of the view or annotations crops but have the ability to adjust the string to suit my needs. Would like dimension leaders to be disconnect-able but retain the information and relationship with the object with an arrow selection option rather than using detail lines and text to fake it.

I have created a Generic Annotation that looks like that and you can insert whatever you need to in the field. This would be so nice to not have to use that family!

Thank you for the comment. That will at least get us some drafting consistency across the firm.
