idea Show ceiling grid in floor plan with linked arch models en Revit Ideas

The ceiling grid is part of the model yet I cannot show it with the floor plan in my mechanical model. This forces my duct crossing to be upside down. This is opposite of the industry standard method of showing crossing ductwork that has existed since the dawn of mechanical drawings. Contractors use the RCP as part of the mechanical drawings but in this case he either gets ductwork shown in the industry/standard format or he has to sacrifice the ceiling grid. The grid is there.... why is is locked out of my drawings as such?
