idea Remove loose ends en Revit Ideas

Whenever you edit a sketch, you must not have any loose ends left in it. I propose to alter the complaint dialogue when this is not the case, to offer to get rid of everything that does not describe a proper sketch (highlighting these bits, of course) ie. is not a closed polyline. Users can opt out as b4 and continue editing manually.

And of course it goes without saying (but with) writing that the new behaviour should apply no matter whether you actively made a new sketch for a new element, edited the sketch via the ribbon entry or double clicked something.
