idea Linework en Revit Ideas

When detailing/drafting, it seems strange to have to pick a line type, then have to override graphics in view in order to add a line type/weight/colour. Could this be streamlined?

Trim to splines? I was adding in a filled region (representing earth near a footing/foundation detail) and could not simply trim to a spline - instead having to manipulate the control points. Talking of which, can we add a right click menu to add/remove controls?

Do you not use Line Styles? You can set up as many line weights, colors and patterns as you like.
