idea Detail Component nested in Mullion Profile family en Revit Ideas

Can we please have a little bit of consistency with the behavior of nested detail components in families.

At the moment if you nest a detail component into most families, the detail items are available to snap to with dimensions, detail lines etc. This is what we would expect, however, when detail components are nested into profiles, to create mullions, the detail component shows in the resulting mullion but the detail item geometry is not snapable. This makes it quite difficult to create window assembly details (see attached image). A work around is to place the detail item aligned and locked over the mullion in the detail then dimension to this.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
