idea Lighting Fixture - multiple zone control support en Revit Ideas

The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) BIM Standards committee recently created a list of Autodesk Revit enhancement and feature requests based on a membership survey. We have shared a prioritized list with Autodesk and are posting them here, on Revit Ideas, to build community support to benefit the lighting design industry.

Please consider upvoting this Revit Idea.

Description:

Controls cannot be documented separately from circuiting without adding other parameters. Individual lights are often controlled by sensors, switches, etc. It would be helpful if Revit was enhanced to support real-world lighting design components, which would also lead to support for a digital twin.

This would be a great improvement. We are currently struggling with how to effectively do this without multiple parameters or convoluted processes that are not really data driven. Thanks for sharing this @dan.stine!
