    <description>&lt;P&gt;So the current version of Revit doesn't allow us to paint a small portion of the surface of Framing &amp;amp; Columns It will be really handy if we could split faces of column &amp;amp; Framing as well as other structural elements for formwork calculation.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I voted for this because it makes sense. Depending on how you model, a column may run through various levels so the painted finishes specification could vary along it's length. Similar for beams that cross different compartments.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Probably this needs to be a bit more high level than spitting faces i.e. for an automated manufacturing process you perhaps would like to extract from the BIM model curve parameters along a member where the applied finishes varied (stop/starts).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
