idea Provide Geometry Parameters for 3D Section Boxes en Revit Ideas

Dynamic input with the ability to type in precise numerical values to adjust many items in Revit is one of its greatest features. Because of that I feel a sense of incompleteness when certain items don't have it available (text positioning, section marker length, etc, etc), but where I miss it the most is when I'm moving about in 3D space.

I instinctively want to click on a section box and set its height, depth, and widths relative to grids, levels, or reference planes in the Properties panel. I rely on this behavior for floors, walls, ceilings, hosted families, etc.

When I click the adjustment arrows, I want to reach for my number pad to type in how much to move one of its faces. With this feature, I could fine-tune any 3D view without moving the camera to make sure I've got everything lined up just so.

For those who automate Revit with Dynamo or through the API, this could be an invaluable tool as well.
