Its Better to make Fillet welds as 3D objects in the model and enables drawing of these welds to be
hatched in shop drawings automatically . also an automatic numbering of steel member column, beam, brace, ..etc

Hello, revit isnt very good for Steel fabrication drawing.

Best way is to export to AdvanceSteel with Addon and make welds on it.

Then re-import the Advancesteel model in revit.

Advance Steel is glitchy crap. We need Revit based steel fabrication software. Moreover, Revit potentially has everything for this.

Very Good Idea and totally agree with that

Currently it's only a + sign so you can't show weld length

If this idea happens life will be much easier for us structural engineers @kimberly_fuhrman-jones

best way is to make 3D welds parametric in the connection families. drawing weld hatch manually is very laborious.
