idea Trim/ Split 3D geometry en Revit Ideas

I would like to be able to trim (and split) 3D geometry. For instance, if you create a mass surface, you should be able to trim walls or other masses with the surface. Likewise it could be used in the family editor with reference planes or even reference lines. The tool should prompt the kept/removed (inside/outside) of the geometry.

The relation between kept and removed geometry can be maintained parametrically through the use of the surface normals.
