idea CMYK support en Revit Ideas

Wouldn't it be lovely that revit support the cmyk color mode ? It would suppress the conversion problems from RGB and would allow us to use better and more precise colors in revit. Work with graphists would be simplified.

-1

I understand that this is what would make you particular workflow better but this seems like a really fringe feature that is not at all even close to the core of Architectural or any other discipline. I would much rather have the team spend time on developing better support of managing colour palettes than implementing support for for a colour space that is of no benefit to the vast majority of Revit users.

Hello Tomek. I don't understand your comment. Are you architect ? If so you would know the importance of working in cmyk for precise colors of presentations and visual supports for submissions to competitions. Many non-architects contractors working with us for competitions are working only in cmyk. That's why converting all cmyk work in rgb is such an issue.
I don't think the add of a correct rgb - cmyk converter, which is a basic system already existing in many other software and in open source software, will need much time to the team.
