idea Multiple Click Line-based Family en Revit Ideas

Hi,

We would like to have a line based or linear based family template where we could click multiple points to place a linear item, not just two points within a linear based family. We do a lot of prefab and this would allow us to create families where we could pull lengths of an entire length of a linear multi-clicked line running in multiple directions, for example following multiple walls. Any suggestions of tools or workarounds that are currently available, would be great! I look forward to hearing back about this particular suggestion!

Thank you,

Joel Schier

I agree. I use it to model linear architectural structures to cover ramps (columns+ceiling inside one family). Though some samps have more than one aligment
