    <description>&lt;P&gt;In the family editor, when you nest a family you can create different types and link its parameters through to parameters in the parent family.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, having painstakingly linked all the parameters you need to be editable by users, if you duplicate the type to create a variation all of those links will be lost.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Making a simple change so that duplicated types retain their parameter associations would make creating complex families much more simple, and avoid large amounts of repetitive linking of parameters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, it'd be great if you had the ability to auto-link any parameters in a nested family/type which already exist in the parent family (by name).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
