idea Revit Opening commands "Flaw": Command Suggestion en Revit Ideas

Lot of times I need to make a wall opening that requires me to refer on center lines or midpoints. It takes me inefficient time to come up with what it needs to be with just temporary dimensions, model lines or RP's.

I strongly believe the idea can help ease such spatial problem.

To explain it, suppose i have to put a 1.20 meter opening on a wall exactly on its center.

The problem is you can't snap at a wall opening's midpoint with DI to have it on EQ.

It looks like I have to manually subtract the whole wall length with 1.20 then divide to two so i can input the value on the temporary dimensions but i don't think it's appropriate to do that with a highly renowned software (plus it doesn't have calculator).

Now I would use circle model line to snap and split face on intersections but it does not snap to intersections. Another problem I'm having with model line circle is it only acknowledges radius, what if I'm aiming for a 1.34? that takes time to mentally divide to 2, I'm no engineer.

In my opinion, what is good to have is a wall opening option that snaps on a wall midpoint that can be modified outward. Or, have a midpoint snap that can be gripped at its center and be snapped to a wall center.

Thank you for reading! I have been thinking about this for a long time and i had problems with to it for long time.
