idea Modular elements en Revit Ideas

We have precast elements and new materials like CLT. There is no easy way of dealing with these and still have loadable families that report or behave as system families (walls, floors...) I think sooner or later, Revit will have to deal with this. I don't feel Parts are good enough to automate the layout of panels by breaking up wall or floor elements. You can expect that CLT will be increasingly used, as will prefabbed components that combine structure, mechanical and electrical systems. It is not something easy to fit into the legacy Revit database, but as I said, it will be increasingly important.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
