    <description>&lt;P&gt;When placing stairs there are few measurements that users really care about, one is the distance from the top and bottom stair to the next nearest object; you know, like a wall.&amp;nbsp; Stairs would be useless if the top step dead ends into a wall at the top or bottom; there is also that small thing called code that must be um complied with.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How about Revit automatically display the distances that are useful to designers like the distance from the bottom step to the wall that might otherwise be in a person's way of using the stairs!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Revit StairsCapture.PNG" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/641157iA28E4BD07B3EFB28/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Revit StairsCapture.PNG" alt="Revit StairsCapture.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
