ADDING A SPARE IN REVIT MAKES it 0 amps by default. About 99.9% of spares are 20A. Being able to set that default, even if Revit hardcoded it to 20A would be a big time saver.

Also it would be great if you could revisit the usability of panel schedules. you can't edit multiple cells at once, you can't copy paste, you can't fill, can't connect to excel.

Hello-- thanks for the post.

In Revit 2016 R2, in Electrical Settings > General > Circuit Rating, you can set the defalt circuit rating. This applies to newly created circuits and spares.

Can you elaborate on 'you can't copy paste'? If I select the text in a description, press CTRL+C, and select another cell, and press CTRL+V, the text is pasted.

For editing multiple cells at once, can you give an example of what you would expect to edit simultaneously?

What do you mean by "you can't fill"?

What would connecting to Excel enable you to do that you can't do now?

Thanks again for the requests.

Thanks for the response. I'll definitely check that setting, sounds like
it'll help a lot.

Here's an example of when I'd want copy paste: Say I want to add 10 spares
in a panel to simulate future loads. And I want to out 20a each and 720Va
each. And the loan name id like to say "future lighting" or something like
that. As it stands that's all of that is manual and tedious. An excel
style fill would be nice. Grab one cell and drag down to fill the same
below.

If im going to be greedy, it would be nice to be able to copy a circuit
from one panel to another.

-G
