idea Allow Duplicate Detail Numbers on a Sheet en Revit Ideas

Would be great if there was a facility to allow duplicate Detail Numbers for views placed on a sheet.

Our use case is this:

When we detail rooms at 1:50, each room will have several elevations and each sheet may contain the plans and elevations of multiple rooms. Each collection of plan and elevations is visually grouped together with lines forming borders (see example attached).

We like to have the elevations of each room referred to as Elevation 1, Elevation 2, Elevation 3... and so on. This provides us with the flexibility during documentation to add or remove elevations without affecting the numbering of the elevations of other rooms.

Why are you using the Detail Number for that?

You can accomplish what you want by using either the View Name or the View Title on Sheet parameters

Hello,

The Detail Number would then appear correctly in the Elevation pointer on plan. That's the main issue, not so much the View Title.
