idea Point-Click-OFF en Revit Ideas

One thing I love about AutoCAD is the ability to instantly Freeze or Turn Off a layer just by starting the command and clicking layers off.

It would be a real time saver if I wanted to turn off a categoy in the architects model, without having to go through V/GO and spending time guessing what the mysterious "hatch" pattern is that's showing up. It's a lot of guess work. I would love to see a tool similar to the LAYOFF command from AutoCAD, which would allow me to clock an element and then a warning message pops up saying "This will turn off all elements under the category 'Generic Models.' Are you sure you want to continue?"

Thanks,

You can pretty much do what you're asking for by:

Select an Element

Right-click

Hide in View

Category
