Is there any sense to have Rooms and Spaces as separate tools?

As currently implemented the answer is NO, it would be far simpler for the space properties to be added to rooms and spaces removed. When exporting to IFC you can only send one or the other.

Alternately, room separations and space separations should ONLY affect the respective type so that, for example, the architect can separate the kitchenette from the open office area for area and annotation purposes, whilst the MEP engineer can separate the window zone from the inner zone.

Agreed with @MichaelWarwick7522 . There could be a great reason to have the two tools, but as they are setup now, it doesn't make any sense to have them split.

Really, they should be more divided and work independent of each other, as I mentioned in my post that @MichaelWarwick7522 linked to (thanks!).
