idea Provide "Unassociate" Option for line is too short error en Revit Ideas

Often moving or changing a wall triggers a "line is too short" error. This is from sketched elements (typically finish floors and ceilings that have been attached to the walls. The only option is to delete elements, or to cancel the move, track down the element(s) cut and paste in place the sketch lines to associate them, finish editing the sketch, then return to the wall, move it, and make other needed adjustments and then go back to the floor/ceiling and edit it to work with the new layout.

I'd like an option to "unassociate sketch lines" to save time and prevent accidental deletion of objects.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
