Hello,

I have been using Revit since 2005 and am still very disappointed with how Autodesk deals with Revit guardrail and handrail issues. Railings are very important when they need to be in compliance with codes and regulations. The railing feature in Revit is not very user friendly when users are trying to use it. See attached clip for reference. As you can see in the clip, the rail were set as step hosted without stringers, but the balusters were not cooperating per the setting. The rails end up floating above the steps and the connection between landing of the stairs became doubled step down. Also, ADA extension were not added to the rails because the extension will be floating higher than a normal rail height. In some cases users are using curtain wall tool and edit the profile to create glass rails for their project(s).
