But I feel, if we had Model surface and Model solids like Model lines, we can visualize our concepts more easily. The mass family could help, but Model surface and Model solids might be easier to manipulate. Detail region might help but they are level specific and can be used in 2d only. These model surface and solids can be drawn in any reference working plane that we could set or pick by selecting or might be used as face based. Eventually and probably a formit or sketch-up or 3d max like geometry need to be used in Revit environment directly and not by converting! Thus interoperability workflow also could have an easier direction.

How will it help us? As simple as that, when we use Model lines in any type of view to make any sketch type idea, these type of forms will eventually extend our horizon in concept development!

This is exactly what Masses are for. Perhaps rather than introducing a new type of geometric primitive to Revit we could look at how to make Masses easier to use. I am a big fan of push-pull manipulation and I would like to see it in Revit.
