idea 3D Fillet in Revit en Revit Ideas

People keep asking me one simple question: Why no 3D fillet command in Revit? 3D Fillet is possible for a looong time in Autocad. Why can't fillet an existing cantilever or an existing column edge? Autocad and Autocad Architecture can do that in 3D views.

Easier 3D fillets

The whole process of creating a void sweep to fillet one or more edges of 3D components is far too tedious. A "Modify> 3D Fillet" tool with a Radius: field on the Options Bar might well end up creating the same void entity, but much more easily and intuitively. The resulting void should have a parametric radius.

Next up: Chamfer.
