Everyone knows that system families are not editable - why has there not been a break out of them for user editable versions in electrical. Electrical content is mostly garbage because you cannot properly categorize elements. Even Content from vendors is hacked - for example when a vendor makes Busway it is usually a cable tray fitting family which means you cant tag it with elevations. They use Cable tray so it stays an electrical category but duct work actually does a better job of replicating busway but its a mechanical category. - If you can make duct work why cant you make busway just like duct - but in the electrical category and with electrical properties and actually give us the option to run it that way. As an electrical user of revit for 10 years I have seen almost no improvement on the electrical side- I have an entire arsenal of hacks though which is sad for a product we pay almost a $50k a year to " borrow" And bring back design suite ultimate - it was perfect as it was and collections took away one of the most useful products to modify and create revit families - Inventor.
