idea Cleaner Insert Family/Views, Transfer Standards, etc. en Revit Ideas

Hi,

I would like to have a much cleaner way to Insert Families, Insert Views, Insert 2D, Transfer Standards, etc.

Currently, if I insert a Profile Family into a Framing Familym then insert Framing Family nested into another Family, then insert the last Family into a Project I often wind up with Materials, Region Patterns, Linetypes, Line Patterns, Materials or Assets that are not needed or duplicated.

For some reasons, many duplicated families are just renamed or even with modified values in Instance Parameters despite being the same Family.

Also, this doesn't allow an easy update or improvement of Templates, Families and Materials.

Another weird (for me) thing, is that some families have parameters for which I don't see much advantage...like Materials for a Profile Family or Region Patterns.

I would be useful to be able to select which parameters to insert along with the family or, define exactly in which level a parameter is selected.

For example, Profile Family are just lines, no materials, no regions, no line type, no nothing. Just an idea.
