    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Revit Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is my first post. So if i'm doing something wrong feel free to correct me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Idea is that you should be able to dimension any lines you are cutting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To explain it i've added a screenshot.&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-center" image-alt="Walls with Cut1 and Cut2" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/467466i0E9AACA54718CD8C/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="Screenshot 1.png" alt="Walls with Cut1 and Cut2" /&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-caption" onclick="event.preventDefault();"&gt;Walls with Cut1 and Cut2&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Currently you need to do perpendicular cut through a wall to be able to dimension it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But if you have a curved wall you are not able to dimension it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only workaround i've found for this is that you draw detail lines and dimension them.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Very much agree, and am surprised this doesn't have more comments. Working with Existing or curved buildings you really need to be able to snap to cut things when they are non-perpendicular&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I understand the argument that the dimension itself is entirely irrelevant, and makes no sense if you are talking to someone actually building the thing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But it would even be great if just said 'Varies' by default.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
