    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="Times New Roman"&gt;would it be possible to sort / store / show families in a similar way as to that of objects in AutoCAD&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: '&amp;amp;quot',serif; color: black;"&gt;AutoCAD "Tool Palettes" is used to sort the likes of windows, doors, symbols etc and is totally customisable&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: '&amp;amp;quot',serif; color: black;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: '&amp;amp;quot',serif; color: black;"&gt;seeing that Revit mirrors the AutoCad layout and interface would this be a big thing to design / incorporate&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: '&amp;amp;quot',serif; color: black;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: '&amp;amp;quot',serif; color: black;"&gt;we are an ICF construction company and we are in the process of starting our new adventure into the world of Revit&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: '&amp;amp;quot',serif; color: black;"&gt;we currently have 7 block family types with 7 sub categories each, 1 roof element and 2 floor elements each with 2 sub categories&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;before breaking down in to cut segments ( again 7 increments) &lt;SPAN style="font-family: '&amp;amp;quot',serif; color: black;"&gt;this equates to a very long scroll menu when loaded&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I'm a long time Autocad user and i have never used the Tool Palletes. I find it nothing but useless. It takes a long time to scroll through hundreds of items. It's just too big (on screen) for me. You can see a drop-down list of blocks when using InsertBlock command. Block names should be suggestive enough. The preview mode is useful only when working with external block libraries, when trying to insert foreign items into your project.</description>
