Toggle off finish, structural and various core layers of wall types via view properties. When i produce architectural plans- walls have finish layers, membrane layers, ect. When these are used for structural/ framing plans- I should be able to turn these layers off such that only the structural portion of the wall type displays.

Spot on! Stripping the finishes off to do a structural or set out plan or DWG* export sucks. being able to set more than one layer to structural would be great as well for cavity brick walls etc. this could then be filtered or switched to show structural components only. separating walls isn't realistic, error prone & messy to tag/schedule.

*at very least have finishes on a different export layer
