idea host elements on linked walls and vice versa en Revit Ideas

In order to have more integrated workflows and model exchange with sub-contractors we must have a capability in Revit that allows seamlessly creating doors, windows and other hosted elements in the walls and other system/host families from within the linked files. As if it was in the same file. Without a need to duplicate elements with the tedious copy monitoring option.

When the link is not found the hosted elements must be free floating or free standing but when the host is re-loaded it must re-generate the relationship and report any errors such as the host that is moved away from the insert(door or window). In other words changes of linked files must be synchronized to one another and any inconsistencies must be highlighted.

Standard scenario: structural has the stairs in their model, the railing however is modeled by the architect. Railings need to be able to host on linked model stairs.
