&lt;P&gt;Revit 2018, generic model adaptive template - In the 3d view, the cube clearly identifies a certain view as the "FRONT".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When you go to the elevation view named as "FRONT" it does not show you what the 3d view shows as "FRONT", but the opposite,&amp;nbsp;the BACK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;And of course, the elevation view named as "BACK" shows you what the cube shows as FRONT.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;However, what the 3d cube&amp;nbsp;shows as LEFT&amp;nbsp;does match&amp;nbsp;what the elevation view shows as LEFT.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Therefore, in summary, LEFT is LEFT, RIGHT is RIGHT, but... FRONT is BACK and BACK is FRONT.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;@&lt;SPAN class="login-bold"&gt;&lt;A id="link_82f906f87c4692" class="lia-link-navigation lia-page-link lia-user-name-link" href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/548725" target="_self"&gt;Alfredo_Medina&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;reported this inconsistency several times in previous years and requires that the elevation views are still named correctly in the next release.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Changing the names of the Front and Back elevation views in the generic template is required.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
