Re: Possible set default value in the variable?

Hi @PCTECNI5

we can not define a default value inside the post when we are defining the variable.

The post processor option in the browser tree does not store these informations either.

If you are using only one post processor, the Machining Configuration can help you.

But if you use several posts, it will be problematic.

Example :

Active post : Siemens

We can edit the machining configuration for setting a pWord default value:

But switching to another post

It become

So default value from one post may collide with default for another post if the use the same PWord.

If you uses only one post in featureCAM, yes there is a solution.

If you are using multiple posts, it's nearly impossible (or you must use completely differents Pword in each post, i.e Siemens using P1-P20, Mori using P21-P51....)

Regards.

______________________________________________________________

If my post answers your question, please click the "Accept Solution" button. This helps everyone find answers more quickly!
