tema tool constantly lifting out of material on MF files en FeatureCAM Forum

I have tried everything I can think of, and no matter what I do, when I create an MF file, the tool is constantly lifting out of the material. it will take a small cut lift up to the rapid plane even though I have retract to plunge clearance marked. I have used minimize tool retract it still does it. I have also tried everything under the milling tab. At this rate what should be faster to run multiple parts is taking three to four times longer per part than if I just ran them individually. Anyone have any ideas?

Okay so I tried to attach the MF file but apparently you can't attach that file type go figure so I don't know how to show how it is programming it. I have however attached the FM file as of the last try but like I said I have tried a lot of different scenarios without any luck.

Set your vortex z lift to .003. Thats the backfeed micro-lift. Its a non cutting move. Hope that helps.

It is in the milling tab

Okay I was trying to go by what the help files were showing and it looked like the larger the Z lift the less it would lift out. I must be misinterpreting what the help files say or they are backwards.
