topic Controlling cut depth in Fusion Manufacture

I have a oval part being cut from round stock that is slightly larger than the major diameter of the part. I don't want the tool more than 50% engaged in the part while cutting the narrow part of the oval during the first time around the part. I can manage that by adding 6 step-overs to the roughing pass but after that first pass when the bar stock is close to oval every following pass the tool is barely engaged. What is the best way to handle this first pass and remove more material on following passes?

Hi

The adaptive toolpaths will control engagement

See attached example with 50% engagement.

You can change the optimal load to be whatever you want and it will try to take at least that much of a cut but no more
