Background:

I work at a commercial HVAC contractor.

We have an autofold coil line and a 20 ft plasma table.

I am drawing all the ductwork for fabrication in Fabrication MEP and saving them on the network.

I am then opening the files in Camduct, which is tied to the coil line and plasma table, and nesting them.

I am pulling that file to the plasma table for duct fittings. It has worked flawlessly for the past 25 plus years.

The old coil line has never been hooked to the system and was inputted manually. Now I am pulling the straight duct files from my drawings.

I have it working well, but recently had to change some settings because the duct was all full wrap, and I needed to convert to a 2XL past a certain size.

Im having a hard time getting the larger 2XL duct to work. It is converting to L in Fab MEP, but when pulled into the coil line, it is not recognizing the L duct. It says section unrecognized and will not make the duct.

Size also only list one size instead on 2, and has the symbol for flat sheet.

have you tried doing a straight duct in U shape to see if the coil line will accept that?

are you using pattern CID866 for the straight ducts in fab?

Check if the 2XL profile is correctly set up in both Fab MEP and Camduct. Re-nest the files and make sure everything syncs up.
