Clearance around Fire dampers

Hi All,

We have been using revit and recently made the transition to fabparts in revit. was wondering if there was an option to show clearance zone around fire dampers (duct accessories)

Can we do something similar in fab parts ? if so can you please guide me in the right direction

No you cannot add a clearance to fabrication parts. I use a hybrid of Revit rfa for all Equipment and inline Equipment. ITM's for all duct and pipe services.

If your using fabrication within CAD then a wrapped object would allow this. Just be aware than you would need to build a CAD object for each size. Not the best way but would do what you want. If you're in Revit these will not be supported and the best method is what craig mentioned. This is also how we manage it.
