Hi,

I have watched the Autodesk videos on how to import a Revit file into CAD MEP 2019. I downloaded the Revit file from the manufacturer and saved it as a Revit Family so I could edit it later when moving everything to Revit. I extracted the Revit file. Back in CAD MEP, when I type PROCESSRUN in the command bar, no Revit files appear under .RIF. When I select AME Import File from the same drop down menu, my Revit extracted file appears. I selected it to open but it does not open in MEP. What step am I missing? I'm working in Revit 2019. The model I downloaded from the manuf. is a Revit 2018 file. I know you have to save Revit files in a specific year to continue to use that file in the Revit year but I thought you could "upgrade" it to a newer version as long as you continue to use that version of Revit. I also have Revit 2021 along with 2019 on my computer. Not sure if I need to use Revit 2021. I am a novice and an apprentice so I am learning.

Thank you.
