Hello!!

I just started using CADmep and will need to convert the ductwork from a design to a workable AutoCAD MEP for the duct shops. I have followed the steps to export the duct from revit to AutoCAD mep but for those who do not have CADmep add in subscription, the only receive useless blocks. I need to convert the duct from revit to autocad and I thought this would do it. I may be doing something wrong but if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

This forum is for CadMEP, not AutoCAD MEP. They are 2 distinct applications. You could try posting there, but what you want isn't possible.

The only solution is to trace over your exported file with AutoCAD MEP objects.

If you want non-CadMEP users to view CadMEP content, they need to install the free Object Enabler.
